Lorenzo can you tell us a bit about yourself?
I completed my MSc in Aerospace Engineering in February 2015 at the University of Naples “Federico II”, Italy. The program attracted me as I really liked the idea to have an international experience and to be able to work in very different teams to understand the position I would fit better. As Bombardier is very well known, I applied to the program without thinking twice.
Why did you choose to join the RCS Graduate Program?
I always had an interest in automated, computerized control systems since college.
What has been your best experience in the program?
The development modules were a great occasion to network and socialize with other graduates and to attend courses tailored for fresh graduates.
What surprised you most when you joined RCS?
The number of documents which describe each product, procedure, verification process and much of our everyday job.
What do you like about working for RCS?
The people I have been working with have always been very kind, patient and friendly. I have the possibility to understand how our systems work and to actually work on them in a very short time
Your advice for future candidates?
The beginning of each rotation can be a bit challenging as you are new to the job. The faster you socialize with your new colleagues and leverage their experience the sooner you will get through this period.
What are you most proud of during the RCS Graduate Program?
The relatively short time it took to network and socialize with the many people who work in my home location.
Thank you Lorenzo
